Mothers Day

Today was wonderful and difficult. Wonderful because I have a fabulous daughter who words cannot express how much I love her and what she means to our family. Difficult because this is my first mothers day without my mother. Mee-maw passed away on 1-28-10. She was wonderful and loved her grandkids sooooo much. The other reason it is difficult is because Andrew is so far away from home. Mee-maw was excited about him coming home and now will never meet him on this earth. We love Andrew so much even though we have not yet met.

Mee-maw and Mindee several days after we brought Mindee home from Korea. We miss you Mee-maw.....

To Andrew,

Mommy is coming as soon as I can. I know that you are in a foster family that loves and cares for you, but you are loved here too. I can't wait to hold you, hug you, kiss you, laugh at your silliness, dry your tears. I can't wait to see you play with your sister and laugh with your daddy. You are missed and you are loved.

You won't understand when we take you from your omma and appa, but you will learn to know that you are loved and you will be surrounded by family that will never leave you. You will sometimes make bad choices, you will sometimes be mad at me. Even in the worst times I will love you. I will not be perfect either, but we will learn together. God is putting our family together and you belong with us.

Hang in there mommy is coming
I love you
